Host Intro: The Rosetta Stone was a key to decrypting ancient languages.  Today the term "Rosetta Stone" is used to describe something that leads to the understanding of a mystery.  In that way, the Rosetta space mission is expected to lead us to an understanding of some of the mysteries surrounding the formation of the Solar System.  The Rosetta mission is run by the European Space Agency.  The spacecraft launched in March 2004, but won't reach its target, a distant comet, until late 2014. During that time the spacecraft has flown by planets and asteroids, most recently, just this past Saturday, July 10th, when Rosetta flew by the large asteroid Lutetia.  How on Earth's own host, Joel Parker, is a science team member and project manager for one of the instruments on the Rosetta spacecraft.  So we are going to put Joel in the How on Earth "hot seat" and talk to him about the Rosetta mission and his work there.
